Okay, so I haven't made a card for the color inspiration in a while...so I figured it was time. I absolutely love the colors from this week. The are sooo beautiful together. I have a feeling that there will be a lot of beautiful projects created for this inspiration. TFL.

Challenge #2 is trying something new. I have had alcohol inks and glossy paper for a while now and I know you can use them together, but, I never tried it so.....now i have.

Here is my entry for K Werner's 50th Color Inspiration. I have had this stamp set for a while and just never got around to using it. When I saw the colors for this week, this is the first stamp I thought of. TFL.

Love the colors this week....beautiful. My card this week is pretty simple, but I am happy with the way it turned out. I had fun making the embossed butterfly...which is a cuttlebug die/embossing folder combo.

Here is the card I came up with. I planned on making it a vertical card, but by the end, it was horizontal...lol. I love the classic look of these colors together. Thanks for looking.

My 3 favorite things about these challenges:

1) Working outside of my "box" as far as mixing colors together.

2) Using more of my products than usual (I have my certain fave colors).

3) Being excited about working in my scrapbook room during the week.

I decided to do a card this week instead of a layout. I am loving these color inspirations. I find it gets my creative juices flowing...lol. I loved being able to use one of the new stamps sets I bought last weekend. I live in a small town, and happened to go to the city so I splurged a little...well, okay alot.

I just had to enter this color inspiration. I have been amazed by the talent of K. Werner for months. I watch her Make a Card Monday and Finally Friday vidoes on youtube every week. She is kinda like my papercraft hero...lol.
